The Event:
Ethiopian Great run Established in 2001 by one of the world's greatest long-distance runners, Haile Gebreselassie and More than 39,000 competitors are expected to line up for this year’s 15th edition of the popular 10km run, which will take place on Sunday, 22 November 2015. The Great Ethiopian Run attracts all ages and fitness levels walkers, joggers and committed runners – from across Africa and around the globe to compete together in this unique environment.Day 1: Monday 16th November2015
Arrival in Addis Ababa-The capital of Ethiopia and Africa is 125 years old.
You will be welcomed at Bole International airport by Tangible Ethiopia Tour & Travel staff and transferred to your hotel for check in. Afternoon, visit the national museum a chance to see Lucy (the 3.6 Million years old Fossil), her ancestor and Descendant of human Origin. It also exhibit the country history and archeological findings.Stay

Day 2: Tuesday 17th November2015
Addis Ababa – Rural Ethiopia Motta (Blue Nile Gorge, Portuguese bridge & DebreLibanos Ancient Monastery)
After breakfast, Drive to Rural Ethiopia -north on the Gojam road to Motta, about 110km from Addis Ababa. Visit, DeberLibanos Monastery ,which is an important monastic center for Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity ,the monastery there was found by the Renowned 13th Century ,Saint Teclehaimanot and there is a small cave near the church( which is of recent construction )where he is stood for Seven years on one Leg ,until the other wasted away and dropped off. Continue your drive to a 16th Century Bridge still used today and said to have been built by Portuguese’s, Proceed to Blue Nile Gorge ,the majestic and massive - most captivating physical feature and natural beauty gorge in Africa which is over a mile wide and deeper than the Grand canyon of the United States of America. view the old and the new bridges built on the river.

Day 3: Wednsday 18th November 2015
Visit Kana Academy Education Project in rural Ethiopia-Motta & Drive Bahirdar.
After break fast, we visit kana academy rural education project located in Motta and meet the Staffs, Students and visiting the school tree planting program-in order to giving children the opportunity to plant trees and watch them grow by planting improved citrus, mango, guava, papaya, avocado, banana trees besides eqlyptus & Indigenous trees in rural Ethiopia. then after drive to BahirDar- a town located on the Shore of Lake Tana through the beautiful scenery. After lunch, City tour of BahirDar that Includes:- Mount-Bezawit where the Palace of Emperor Haileselassie is gracefully situated .This hill top is the best panoramic view to see the outlet of the Blue Nile River, Lake Tana and it’s monasteries & the town of BahirDar, proceed to the Colorful market where you could find the pottery ,traditional hand-made woven clothes ,lunch box made of Papyrus and covered by goat skin& the Wayto Injera Basket.

Day 4: Thursday 19th Novmber 2015
Visit Ethiopia’s largest water body - Lake Tana & Blue Nile falls
After breakfast, a boat ride trip on Ethiopia’s largest water body-Lake Tana(3,666kmsq)to visit the island monasteries ofUra-Kidanmerit(14th CenturyAD)and Azwa mariam(14th Century AD)after lunch proceed your trip to visit Tisisat named after the waterfalls of the Blue Nile River(the Life blood for the Sudanese& Egyptians)

Bahir Dar – Gondar – registered by UNESCO as a world heritage site.
After breakfast, The four-hour drive will take you through Ethiopian rural villages to Gondar on a beautiful Ethiopian African landscape , over wide grazing land, hilly mountains with numerous farm lands. In the afternoon ,visit the Royal Enclosure that is surrounding by high stone walls containing the 17thCentury Palaces of King Fasilades, King Iyasu and Qeen Mintewab and different other kings buildings) Emperor Fasildes Bath(that is filled with water for the important Timket(epiphany) Ceremony once a year), the residences of Empress Mintwab and the church of DebreBirhan Sellasie which is famous for its wall and ceiling paintings.

Day 6: Saturday 21st Novmber 2015
Fly from GONDER-ADDIS ABABA+ Sightseeing
Visit Entoto Mountain a panoramic view point at the highest pick in AddisAbaba with an altitude of 3,200 meters, The Merkato: the biggest open air market in Africa.

Day 7: Sunday morning, 22nd November – The Big Race!
